        Moe Clark, artiste d’origine métisse, sera de passage à la Salle du Tremplin pour partager ses œuvres vocales uniques, mêlant la performance avec les traditions du chant tribal et du spoken word. À l’aide d’une pédale à répétition continue (looping pedal), Moe crée autant de paysages sonores qui transportent l’auditeur dans le cycle infini de la parole. Sa poésie, empreinte d’humanisme, évoque le pouvoir de l’esprit et l’essence de la quête.

En première partie, deux jeunes femmes, auteures-compositeures-interprètes des alentours, apporteront leur couleur à ce spectacle en trois dimensions, où la voix sera à l’honneur.

Avec sa voix chaude et sensible, Caroline Pépin-Coulombe s’aventure à travers les styles, du blues au jazz, au folk, au soul. Musicienne aux multiples talents, elle vient tout juste de lancer son premier album, Chain off my mind. Ses compostions portent tantôt la mélancolie des jours de pluie, tantôt la fébrilité des premières amours.

Liliane Pellerin étudie à l’École nationale de la chanson de Granby. Elle n’a pas le téléphone. Mais elle a au fond des poches des tas de chansons qui résonnent. Elle sera accompagnée, pour l’occasion, par Anaïs Constantin, au violoncelle.

Looping Landscapes
Caroline Pépin-Coulombe / Liliane Pellerin / Moe Clark

On February 11th, Metis artist Moe Clark will be at Salle du Tremplin to share her unique vocal pieces, in which she blends performance with traditions of circle singing and spoken word. She uses a looping pedal to create sound landscapes, which carry the listener into the infinite circle of word. Her poetry, profoundly sensitive and humanist, evokes the power of spirit and the essence of life.

In the first part, two young women, singer-songwriters from not so far away, will bring their own color to this three-dimension show, where the voice will reign.

With her hot and sensitive voice, Caroline Pépin-Coulombe travels through musical styles, from blues to jazz, to folk, to soul. Multi-talented musician, she just launched her first album, Chain off my mind. Her songs are inhabited by a rainy day’s melancholy, as well as by the excitement of first loves.

Liliane Pellerin studies at l’École nationale de la chanson de Granby. She doesn’t have the phone, but has plenty of songs, ringing in her back pocket. She will be joined, for the occasion, by Anaïs Constantin, playing the cello.
